The Puma Solarsmash Junior padel racket is built for young players who need a reliable, easy-swinging racket while learning the game. Its round shape, lighter weight, and forgiving central sweet spot make it a strong choice for juniors who are still improving their control and consistency. The soft EVA core adds comfort on contact, while the fiberglass surface gives enough rebound to help generate depth without demanding perfect technique. This is a sensible junior padel racket for building confidence, improving shot accuracy, and enjoying longer rallies.
- Weight: Approx. 310–320g, giving young players a lighter, quicker swing that is easier to control during rallies.
- Texture: Smooth face, designed for clean ball contact rather than heavy spin generation.
- Balance: Medium to medium-low balance, helping juniors manoeuvre the racket comfortably without feeling head-heavy.
- Sweet Spot: Large and central, making off-centre shots more forgiving for players still developing timing and technique.
- Playing Style: Best for control, consistency, and confidence-building, especially for juniors learning placement, volleys, and basic attacking shots.
- Player Ability: Ideal for junior beginners and improving young players who need comfort, easy handling, and a forgiving response.
- Racket Shape: Round, which supports control and a more predictable feel on contact.
- Racket Material: Fiberglass hitting surface with a carbon / glass-fibre frame construction, offering a good mix of flexibility, durability, and comfort.
- Racket Core: Low-hardness EVA foam, giving a softer feel that helps reduce vibration and makes the racket easier to use.

Excellent shoes, excellent service and communication. I will definitely use Paddlespeed again, thank you. Les👍
Well pleased with the service and shoes are comfortable with a little wider fit than others ive tried, very pleased with the product and service
arrived very quickly once ordered, the paddle is very good quality, has no lip around the edge, took a couple of sessions to get use to the new paddle. fells like it has improved my game (but you have to ask my partners)
good value for the money
This is an amazing paddle! I’ve had few and this one feels the best of all so far. It’s lighter than one’s I’ve had before which is so much better for my frequently injured wrist.
Great advice and very professional attitude
Here’s a relaxed review you could post:
Absolutely delighted with my Volt 900 padel racket! It arrived really well packaged and the delivery was quick. Communication from Padel Speed was spot on from start to finish, keeping me updated throughout. The racket itself feels fantastic on court and I’m really happy with it. Thanks again to Padel Speed – a great experience all round. Highly recommended!
I bought this pressuriser for my Dad. He has tried out a few in the past including manual and other automatic ones, but he seems certain this one has been the best one yet. He has noticed a genuine difference in his ball lifespan. Super happy I chose preserva!
Bought this for myslef about a month ago now and can seriously see the difference in my padel ball pressure. I've definitely bought less balls than I would've without preserva. I would genuinely reccomend this product!
This is the best racket I have used since playing padel for the last two years. Started with. Nox, moved to Bullpadel and ow this racket, I would never go back!
Resolve the issue quickly.
Have had a few pressurisers now and this has been my favourite. It actually works well at improving the pressure of balls
